Dragonheart only has a 47% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but I thoroughly enjoyed it when it came out in 1996. Roger Ebert gave the movie 3 out of 4 stars. The film stars Dennis Quaid, with Sean Connery providing the voice of the dragon.
There is an interesting plot point about what the dragon does with his heart.
The movie has one great joke that I still remember:
Young Einon: "The peasants are revolting."
Brok (played by Brian Thompson): "They've always been revolting, Prince. But now, they're rebelling."
Rating: B.
